Used books and magazines are sold just inside the door to the Eldridge Library in the Friends Area. The Friends accept donations of books, magazines and media anytime – just drop them off at the Eldridge Circulation desk.
You can also buy books online to benefit the Friends of the Eldridge Library, which, in turn benefits library services and programs. There are approximately one million book titles as well as DVDs, Blu-Ray, audio books, and music CDs in My Library Book Store.
Other Fundraisers:

Scott County Cooks cookbooks are $10 at any Scott County Library System Branch. Includes the best recipes from local home cooks! Proceeds benefit the Bookmobile Fund.
Best Choice Labels is a program through North Scott Foods. The Friends get $30 for every 1,000 labels collected. Please clip the UPC Codes on Best Choice Products only and bring them to the Eldridge library. There is a can in the Friends corner.
Spring Book Sale: Purchase used books, videos, magazines, and more at the annual Spring Book Sale going on May 3rd – 10th during library hours. Thursday, May 2nd will be Friends Member Only Preview from 4-8 pm. Saturday, May 11 the book sale will be open from 9 – noon. On May 11 you can fill a bag or 2 or 3 for just a buck!
