Children of all ages can soon sign up for the Summer Reading Program. Children receive prizes, including toys, books, and more for reading or being read to during the months of June and July.

Summer Reading Program Facts:

• Sign up for the Summer Reading Program begins the last day of school (May 28th for the Davenport School District, May 29th for the North Scott School District).
• Sign up at one of our Scott County Library locations and pick up your reading log OR print an online reading log starting the last day of school.
• The Summer Reading Program is FREE. All children’s programs at the library are also FREE.
• Children ages 0 years old to going into 6th grade can sign up for the Youth Reading Program. Those going into 7th grade through 12th grade will sign up for the Teen Reading Program.
• Children do NOT have to be residents of Scott County to sign up for the Summer Reading Program.
• Reading logs must be turned in to one of the Scott County Library locations by July 31st to receive prizes.
