Beneath the Surface is the theme for our 2013 Teen Summer Reading Program.  Teens can sign up and read throughout June and July to earn prizes and free books.  We will also have a number of fun activities to keep teens busy this summer.

Summer Reading Program Facts:

  • Sign up for the Summer Reading Program begins the last day of school (May 28th for the Davenport School District, May 29th for the North Scott School District).
  • Sign up at one of our Scott County Library locations and pick up your reading log OR print an online reading log starting the last day of school.
  • The Summer Reading Program is FREE. All teen programs at the library are also FREE.
  • Teens going into 7th grade through 12th grade can sign up for the Teen Reading Program.
  • Teens do NOT have to be residents of Scott County to sign up for the Summer Reading Program program.
  • Reading logs must be turned in to one of the Scott County Library locations by July 31st to receive prizes.
  • Please visit the Scott County Calendar of Events for lots of fun programs and activities at our Scott County Library locations.
